My Therapeutic Focus
I enjoy working with adults navigating obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, anger, trauma, substance abuse, life transitions, and relationship issues. I believe in a personalized approach to care and will collaborate with you to determine the most effective therapeutic path for your needs.
I approach therapy with an understanding that each person’s path to wellness is unique. I value building a safe, curious, and nonjudgmental relationship to encourage vulnerability and growth. I approach my work with clients in a warm and empathetic manner. I am a believer in some humor and fun along the way.
We will explore thoughts, emotions, beliefs, relationships, circumstances, or patterns of behavior that have interfered with your sense of well-being. I will help you learn to manage your emotions in the present moment to react in ways that align with your goals or desired outcomes.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
